Paige Baione (Executive Director)
Paige left her position as an operations manager at a local investment firm, part of a leading investment network servicing $86 billion in client assets, to pursue her passions at Arise Delaware. In her prior position, she was recognized for her skill by her appointment to the national 12-member advisory board where she assisted with the development of new procedures, training tools, and the annual operations conference. She joined the firm after a successful time as an entrepreneur and following several positions in banking and finance.
But, her lifelong passion is volunteering. Whether painting homes and visiting hospitals and nursing homes as a teen, being a leader of a Bible study as a young mother, designing and building theater sets for her church productions, forming a support group for parents of children with disabilities after raising her own, or being a marriage mentor to engaged couples, her heart has always been in helping others. It is her goal to bring these experiences, skills and passion together to lead and grow Arise Delaware so that lives may be transformed and more people will experience the life-giving power of a grace-filled community.
Paige currently resides in Felton with her husband Joe. They are the proud parents of three children.
Abby Stewart (Embrace)
Abby first became involved with disability ministry in middle school when a boy she knew suffered a traumatic brain injury after being struck by a car while crossing the street. She wanted to love this boy just as he was, and help his family navigate the world of disability. In high school she volunteered with the Special Olympics before obtaining a BS in Elementary and Special Ed from Geneva College.
Since then, she has taught in various special education settings, always desiring to minister to those affected by disabilities and their families. She believes the Lord loves these precious children just as they are, and wants their hearts to be changed by His grace. She also desires to help the Church show love to these families for the sake of the Gospel.
